After 40 years in the steel fabrication industry, one thing  became clear: weld shape and size quantification is still largely manual, inconsistent, and inefficient.

Despite advances in engineering, weld inspection still depends heavily on Human judgement, manual gauges and time-consuming processes.

The Surface Profile Imaging team set out to fix this.

By combining practical workshop experience with software engineering expertise, we’ve built a system that brings speed, consistency, and digital traceability to weld inspection. 

There are four key components of the Surface Profile Imaging workflow.
